Portfolio
I started my career in the visual arts as an assistant photographer, way back in the 1970s, at Grignon Studios where we primarily shot furniture layouts for catalogs. I went on to learn graphic design as an apprentice at S.F. Anderson, helping create point of purchase materials for Sears and packaging designs for Keebler and McDonalds. My mentor was art director, Douglas Baer. Since then I haved designed and produced materials for print and the internet.
This portfolio is designed to show a cross-section of the work I've done for large companies like The Chicago Tribune and small businesses like Personal Images, Inc. On the print side I've worked on textbooks, magazines, catalogs, newspapers and promotional materials. I've also designed numerous websites, some with rich media content like Flash. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an interview I can be reached at tim@thrillingtales.com.
